The 12-year-old was part of the Scottish Equestrian Vaulting Team (SEVT) which also represented Great Britain at the championships in Hungary.

It’s been a rapid rise for the Lanark Grammar pupil who only took up the sport, described as gymnastics and dance on horseback, in January last year.

Apart from representing her home nation, Kerri won the British title for her individual vaulting class and won both Scottish and British titles in the team event at the championships, held at Ingliston.

Proud mum Susan is delighted with the great strides her daughter has made in such a tough sport.
