As well as cars there was something for all ages with face painting, a magician, balloon twisting, and dance and music entertainment, including the Jive and Rock&Roll Dance group.

Ania Surma, Milngavie BID co-ordinator, said: “There was a very positive atmosphere in the village and it was great seeing people meeting their old friends and engaging with car owners and other activities.

“We had a many local and new visitors who travelled from different areas such as Glasgow South Side, Greenock, Clarkston, Largs, Hamilton, Clydebank and many more places just for the show spending whole day in Milngavie!”

The winner of this year’s ‘best in show’ prize worth £200 was David Quigley with his beautiful American Pontiac 1949. The prize was kindly sponsored by Angelwax.
