Seafar woman retires from Kildrum Health Centre

staff said fond farewell to a colleague who has served patients in a popular health centre for almost three decades.

Cathy Train, of Seafar, retired from Dr Nahar and Partners at Kildrum Health Centre in Cumbernauld last Thursday.

Cathy was practice manager at the centre for 29 years and previously worked in Glasgow giving a total of 33 years to the NHS.

She was presented with gifts from staff who were sad to see her leave.

Shirley Wilson will now take on the role of practice manager.

She said: “We wish Cathy a long and happy retirement. She will be missed by everyone at the practice.”
