Over 250 people attended the event, held at Arta in Glasgow, which rewarded the contact centre staff for their commitment to the company.

Winners raised the Archie star trophy, named after the firm’s long-time mascot, Archie the dog, with ten awards in total given out including Support Person of the Year, Manager of the Year and Campaign Champions.

The main award, Employee of the Year, went to Marcus Peachy who won an overnight Spa Break for two at Cameron House, on the banks of Loch Lomond.

The awards event follows a successful year for the Airbles Road business, where the company has established its position as one of the biggest private sector employer in the area.

Last year it launched a recruitment drive to find 200 new employees, a move which doubled its workforce to 400 people.

Managing director John Devlin said: “Our staff played a crucial role in the success of Ascensos over the last year. This reflects our core culture and values of delivering a bespoke customer services to our clients. With these awards we want to reward those staff who go the extra mile.
