Lanark’s Wallace Express depot to close
On Tuesday morning management held a meeting with the estimated 40 local staff of the firm, still better known by its former name of Wallace Express, to tell them that the Lanark depot was to close in three month’s time.
Redundancy offers or re-deployment options will be put to the staff on Friday, it is understood.
