Farewell to Clara Kay, Carluke Rovers stalwart
Clara, who died aged 75 on June 27 after battling ill health in recent years, remained loyal throughout her life to Rovers, the club formerly run by her dad Charlie. She will be sadly missed by many local people, including former Rovers manager Whitey Moffat who knew her for 48 years.
“It was a real sickener to hear the news of Clara’s death,” Whitey said.
