The events will offer a wealth of information and promotional material from a number of organisations.
Head along to the Kirkintilloch Hub on Thursday, December 1, or Woodhill Evangelical Church on Tuesday, December 6, for advice on topics such as community safety and easy ways you can help look after vulnerable residents over the winter period and beyond.

Working in partnership with the Scottish Government on the Ready Scotland campaign, East Dunbartonshire Council and partners have arranged the events so that people have all the information they will need to cope with severe weather.
The Ready Scotland’s theme this week is cybercrime, and community wardens will be on hand to advise about protecting yourself from bogus callers and how to stay safe online, as well as how to report anti-social behaviour such as excessive noise and dog fouling.
Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, the East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership, Scottish Water (Bishopbriggs) and council departments including Housing, Roads and Social Work, will also be on hand to answer questions and offer general help, advice and reassurance.

Hide AdCouncil leader Councillor Rhondda Geekie said: “Cybercrime is a new problem but targets people of all ages, and scams targeting people by phone or post alone cost people in the UK an estimated £5 billion each year. Our road shows are a great opportunity to find out what you can do to protect yourself from this type of crime.
“As well as advice from community safety wardens, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will be booking visitors in for free fire safety home visits.
“Scottish Water will also be talking about flood prevention when representatives visit the Bishopbriggs and Milngavie events.”
The road shows will run from 10am until 3pm on both dates.
