Man with 'blade' arrested after police search woods at Canniesburn in Bearsden
A 43-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly being in possession of a bladed article after an incident in Bearsden.
The man was charged by police at 2.15pm at Maryhill Road on Sunday, April 18.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Local residents posted on social media of a big police presence with officers searching a wooded area at Canniesburn Road, Bearsden.
Six police vehicles were seen at Canniesburn Road and Maxwell Avenue.
