Business as usual as Crossford VIP goes into administration

However, assurances are being made that it will be very much business as usual at the Crossford complex of shops and attractions – for the time being.

The park has been operating in its current form for over a decade, evolving from the old Carfin Estate in one of the most scenic spots in the Clyde Valley.

The site is currently in the ownership of the property company C & N Properties (Scotland) Ltd and it is this firm which has gone into administration, as opposed to businesses in the park which are its tenants.

They have been reassured by the joint administrators appointed to C & N, Alan Brown and Bruce Cartwright of Pricewaterhouse Coopers, that it is intended to run the park as normal while the financial situation of the owners is fully looked into.

The independent businesses operating within the park include a coffee shop, narrow gauge railway, nursery and function suite, all thought to be unaffected by the administration announcement.
