Gillian Hamilton, from East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, said: “The Summer Reading Challenge is always hugely popular in our libraries and there’s a more enhanced digital approach this year, which will be fun for the kids.
“They are encouraged to read six books for the challenge and we have lots of new, free ebooks and eaudiobooks for children to choose from on Borrowbox, such as Marge and the Pirate Baby by Isla Fisher and Slime by David Walliams.
“With great books, games and challenges along the way, there will be something for everyone and they are sure to love getting involved.”
