New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of East Renfrewshire’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Pass: Mings Express at Mings Express East Kilbride Road, Busby, East Renfrewshire; rated on September 13

• Pass: Cafe India at 89b Main Street, Thornliebank, East Renfrewshire; rated on May 10

• Improvement Required: New Corner at 3 Eaglesham Road, Clarkston, East Renfrewshire; rated on September 28

It means that of East Renfrewshire's 81 similar establishments with ratings, 79 have pass ratings and just two require improvement.
