Jim Elliot took part in MND Scotlands annual Fun Run at Strathclyde Park last month; his son Kevin pushed him in his wheelchair. Several members of his family took part and were called Callies Crew after the cartoon Calimero. The cartoon used to don the hats of Jim and his co-workers hats in the steel industry and his family soon nicknamed him Callie. The team have raised almost 2,000 for MND Scotland so far and are doing other things to fundraise for MND Scotland including a Tough Mudder, Rough Runner and a Halloween disco.
