Under 18s should not be disappointed
If they didn’t know it before todays game, rugby is a high impact collision sport, with the risk of injury, and it takes a certain kind of person to give their all on a rugby pitch for 80 minutes. And whilst it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, the under 18 squad again demonstrated that they have an appetite for the game that will see them carrying on with the sport in coming seasons.
The game itself was nip and tuck with Cumbernauld having a narrow lead going into the last ten minutes. But with injuries taking their toll, Clydebank managed a couple of quick tries which they managed to hold onto until the final whistle.

It’s looking like rugby across North Lanarkshire is developing well.
