Lanark bowlers bring back Special Olympics medals
Margo McAulay and Andrew Harrison teamed up to win a pairs gold medal, with Andrew adding a singles gold for good measure.
Douglas Ritchie took an individual silver medal, with Janet Grant landing a pairs bronze with a partner from Glasgow.

Hide AdBowling coach at the Harry Smith Complex, a day centre for adults with learning and physical disabilities, is day centre officer Willie McWhinney.
He said: “Everyone here is over the moon for the four bowlers. It is absolutely brilliant that they all got medals.
“To see them rewarded for all the hard work they’ve put in during practice is fantastic.”
