Security warning after thief makes off with car
Police have warned householders to take security precautions after a thief stole a car.
The crime took place on Wednesday, July 6, at around 3am at a property in Whitehill Avenue, Stepps.
The thief forced open a small sash window and reached in to take the car keys, before driving off in the Hyundai Tuscon, registration number BF16 KWS.
Police advise that car keys should never be left in sight of doors or windows.
