Children at St Joseph’s Primary in Stepps now have even more reason to look forward to playtime after an area of the playground was re-surfaced, providing more space and opportunities for children to play.

Head teacher Brendan McCloskey said: “It's wonderful to see our children enjoying using this extended outdoor space.

“We have introduced new outdoor activities and have a group of children and staff raising funds and preparing a wide range of experiences which would not have been possible before.

“Our parent council and PTA are also working on plans for our parent forum and wider community to work alongside pupils to develop other ways in which the space can be used."
