A poignant exhibition of drawings by tragic Motherwell boy Caden Beggan will raise funds for Yorkhill Children’s Hospital.

Six year old Caden, who died on November 20 last year after a four week battle with meningococcal septicaemia, was passionate about drawing and had shown great ability.

Now his drawings will go on show from November 8 to 10 in the display gallery at Chatelherault, with the full support of his parents Paul and Angela, and at the opening night of the exhibition on Friday, November 8 from 7.30 pm prints of Caden’s well-known dinosaur drawings will be auctioned as well as pieces from other Scottish artists.

The exhibition will also display art by Primary 2 children from local schools in North Lanarkshire. The drawings will be part of an art competition and a winner will be selected from each participating school.
