Glen’s Adventure Park is the biggest of its kind in the region and was due to open in April however its launch was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In line with government guidance and Scotland’s easing of lockdown measures– Glen’s Adventure Park finally has opened its gates in time for summer.

At the heart of Glen’s Adventure Park, within Crieff Hydro’s 900 Acre Estate, is Glen’s Fort an imposing four-storey, eight metre high, structure with three slides, four lookouts, climbing walls, crawl tunnels, ladders and clambering spider webs. Its impressive timber structure echoes the impressive architectural silhouette of Crieff Hydro Hotel itself.

Suitable for all the family regardless of age, the brand new Adventure Park has something for everyone. It includes a trio of 30m racing zip wires, swings, playground games, two inflatable jumping pillows and peddle berg karts.

A range of trim trail elements are also on site including balance beams, rope walks and stepping stones.

A custom built toddler area will be added to Glen’s Adventure Park in the coming months to further enhance its appeal for visitors.

Richard Leckie, Action Glen Manager and sixth generation of the family that heads up Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, said: “It’s been our ambition for some time to create an impressive Adventure Park at the centre of Action Glen, so we are delighted to finally open our doors and show our visitors what we’ve been working on. We are extremely fortunate to have acres of land that our guests can explore and we hope they agree that our new facility has been well worth the wait.”

“After months in lockdown, we’re sure this will be welcomed news for families looking for somewhere to visit that will keep the kids entertained. They can relax in a spectacular outdoor environment and have peace of mind that we’ve taken every precaution to ensure a safe and memorable visit.”

Visitors can be assured that all necessary precautions have been taken to allow the park to reopen including limited numbers being allowed access at any one time, mandatory online pre-booking and hand sanitation and equipment cleaning stations installed within the Park.
