The Proclaimers are set to perform at Motherwell Concert Hall later this year.

The gig on Thursday, November 26, is one of 26 announced as part of Craig and Charlie Reid’s new tour for 2015.

They completed their last world tour in 2013 in spectacular fashion as the first Scottish band to play at the new Hydro Arena in Glasgow.

They then took 2014 off to focus on writing before heading to the studio in December.

They hit the road again in May this year touring through to summer 2016.

Motherwell is the first of seven Scottish gigs in November and December and will be followed by performances in Glenrothes, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Proclaimers said: “We are looking forward immensely to the shows. It feels like we’ve been away for a long time so it will be great to back on stage in Scotland.”

Ahead of the tour they will release their 10th studio album Let’s Hear It For The Dogs on Monday, April 27.
