Bellshill teenager Lucy Moore has been wowing judges at TeenStar and is now on the way to the final of the national singing competition TeenStar.
Following the original auditions which involved thousands of hopefuls, 14-year-old Lucy was chosen to perform in the TeenStar live showcase.
From here she won through to the Regional and Area final hears and is now set to perform at the TeenStar final in Birmingham on Saturday.
Winning the title will also bring £5,000 cash prize to spend on the development of her performance.
Lucy was voted best performer in the under 16 category of the Regional Finals, bringing her accolades from the judges who described her as brilliant and engaging with flawless strong vocals.
Lucy also won best performance in her heat at Motherwell Theatre then went on to win the overall final in the under 16 category in the Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow, winning a scholarship to a summer School of Performing Arts.
TeenStar is a national competition for teens and pre-teens which travels the UK in search of best singers, singer-songwriters, rappers and vocalists of all genres.
Judges are looking for an act which can impress an audience and with potential to become a professional recording artist. In total there are over £20,000 worth of prizes.
If Lucy wins, she will take away the top prize of £5000 and can expect an extensive publicity package and a comprehensive consultation and development package which includes social media marketing, image and branding to kick start her musical career.
The final for the three categories of Late Teens, Mid-Teens which includes Lucy, and Pre-teens will provide acts with the opportunity to impress many guests from record labels, agencies and the entertainment industry.
