This year marks the 35th anniversary of the release of The Jam’s classic album All Mod Cons.
To celebrate, From The Jam, featuring the band’s original bassist Bruce Foxton, are performing the album in its entirety on tour.
Bruce and current bandmates vocalist/guitarist Russell Hastings and drummer Tom Hill will belt out hits like Down In The Tube Station At Midnight, David Watts and ‘A’ Bomb in Wardour Street at Motherwell Concert Hall on Friday.
All Mod Cons was The Jam’s third album, peaking at number six in the charts and their first to go gold.
Bruce (57) said: “I don’t actually feel like I’m 21, mentally I am more in my 30s and stuff, but I act probably younger, it does keep you young so long may it continue.
“I fly around stage, leaping up and down like an idiot, when I get up there I get into it I can’t help myself, it just kind of happens, music gets you going.
“The Jam had a lot of good songs and most of them have stood the test of time.”
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets costing £20 are available from the box office on 01698 403120 or visit NLC entertainment
