Beatson Cancer Charity is inviting everyone to join Nicholas McDonald at its annual Christmas Concert to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.
The X-factor star takes to the stage this Saturday to perform Christmas classics at the City Halls in Glasgow.
Nicholas said: “I’m thrilled to be performing at this year’s Christmas Concert.
“Cancer affects so many people and I want to do what I can to give my support for this very worthwhile cause.
“I visited the Beatson Cancer Charity Wellbeing Centre and was so inspired by the care and comfort the facility and staff provides.
“I can’t wait to get on that stage and entertain Team Beatson!”
Local musicians will join Nicholas on stage for a jam packed night of festive entertainment including Bishopbriggs Academy school choir and the UK’s largest, most popular contemporary choir, The Glasgow Rock Choir.
Adding to the festivities the Westerton Male Voice Choir and Barrhead Burgh Brass Band will help entertain guests throughout the night.
Morag Cunningham, head of fundraising, said: “Christmas can be an especially difficult time for people living with cancer.
“Donations are so important to the charity and this Christmas we want to ensure that our patients have a memorable experience and spend precious time comfortably with loved ones.
“So let’s come together to make this a big Beatson Christmas to remember.”
