The members of the Easter Egg Club were delighted to contribute to a recent fundraising CD in aid of Hope for Autism - Lanarkshire.
The club recorded two tracks, Rhythm of Life from their last show and Hallelujah from their next production Lights, Camera, Musicals, and were able to raise over £350 to help the cause.
There are now less than two weeks until opening night of Lights, Camera, Musicals which takes place in Motherwell Theatre from April 21-25.
The show features a selection of songs from almost 40 well known stage and screen musicals including Mary Poppins, Jersey Boys, Lion King, Sunshine on Leith, Sister Act and My Fair Lady.
Club president Stuart McCue-Dick said: “We are delighted to bring this show to Motherwell Theatre for five performances.
“With a wonderful selection of music, an eye catching set and colourful costumes it is sure to be a great night out for all the family.”
Another local charity, the Lanarkshire branch of the Samaritans, based in Hamilton, will benefit from the show.
Day or night a Samaritans volunteer is there to give support to anyone feeling down or struggling to cope, operating from a network of 19 branches throughout Scotland.
The cast is desperate to raise as much as they can for this very worthwhile cause, but need the public of Lanarkshire to go along and support the show.
Tickets cost £10 Tuesday (April 21) and £12 Wednesday to Saturday (April 22-25), with children under 16 half price.
