A BBC radio discussion show is taking place in Motherwell - and members of the public are invited to join the audience.
Radio Scotland’s The Big Debate with Gordon Brewer comes live from Fir Park Stadium’s Centenary Suite on Friday, September 25.
With a similar format to TV’s Question Time, the show has been travelling around Scotland since September 2009 and has visited more than 70 towns and villages.
In the chair is experienced broadcast journalist Gordon Brewer who introduces a panel of speakers from politics, the arts, science, business and other areas of public life.
Only members of the audience can ask them questions.
Audience members are asked to submit questions on the week’s news as the panel debates the up to date issues.
Anyone wishing to take part in the programme can book a seat and submit questions by e-mail or by calling 0141 422 7773.
The producers prefer audience members to apply in advance in order to guarantee a place, but there might be space available to anyone turning up at the venue on the day. Audience members must arrive by 11.30am for the live recording at noon.
Questions are chosen on Friday morning before the programme begins and audience members will be expected to put their questions to the panel live on air.
