Primal Scream set for Motherwell gig

Primal Scream will perform at Motherwell Concert Hall on Tuesday, November 22, as part of their upcoming tour.

The band, formed in Glasgow in 1982 by frontman Bobby Gillespie, are best known for hits such as ‘Loaded’ and the seminal UK top 10 rave album ‘Screamadelica’.

Throughout their 35-year career the band have garnered a variety of influences, from the hard rock of the Rolling Stones and New York Dolls to the acid house scene which saw Primal Scream’s rise to prominence in the late 80s and early 90s.

The band’s eleventh studio album the synthesizer-driven Chaosmosis was released in March this year.

Primal Scream will be supported in Motherwell by Japanese four-piece Bo Ningen.
