Thorniewood look to the top as Bellshill ease their worries

THorniewood United have the chance to go top of the Central League First Division when they travel to Kilsyth Rangers on Saturday.

‘Wood’s emphatic over Glasgow Perthshire kept them just a point behind league leaders St Anthony’s in second place.

With Ants out of action, ‘Wood travel to Duncansfield knowing a victory over third-placed Kilsyth will put them top, albeit with St Anthony’s having two games in hand.

Bellshill Athletic, also in winning form at the weekend, are ninth in the Super League First Division, but have the chance to leapfrog Glenafton Athletic at Loch Park on Saturday.

Both matches kick off at 2pm.
