Uddingston Hockey Club youth section celebrate a successful season

The youth section of Uddingston Hockey Club marked the end of the season with their annual awards presentation.

This season has seen the youth numbers grow at a fantastic rate which has been testament to the hard work put in by all youth and school coaches.

The youngsters had success winning the under-12 Hillhead tournament and also the Arran tournament during the season.

The youth have also enjoyed countless games at the West District Sunday Festivals at all age groups plus away days to play East Kilbride, Kelburn Hockey and Dumfries.

All these games have helped give a platform for the youth to progress and has seen four players make the under-14 District Team and six players in the under-13 District Team. The club would like to thank the players and parents for their effort and commitment throughout the season and the coming seasons.
