Fighters from Keir Hardie Amateur Boxing Club in Newarthill had plenty to smile about after being on top form at the Western District Championships in Glasgow.
The club had a total of seven fighters taking part and they returned from the Ashgill Recreation Centre with a magnificent haul of seven medals - five gold and two silver.
The successful fighters, pictured left to right, were Stephen Black (2001 schoolboys 36kg), Jack Moore (2001 schoolboys 46kg), Ryan Carlin (2001 schoolboys 40kg), Harry Carlin (1998 youths 52kg), Marcus McKenzie (2003 schoolboys 36kg), Stephen McKenna (2000 junior boys 66kg) and Will Porter (2003 schoolboys 32kg).
For Jack Moore it marked a double triumph as he celebrated winning his second gold medal in a week after securing victory in the Scottish Intermediate championships at Ravenscraig a week earlier.
All the boys will now set their sights on the national championships which take place during February and March.
