Henrik Ojamaa’s time at Fir Park came to an end on Friday as Motherwell agreed an undisclosed fee with Legia Warsaw.

’Well had previously turned down two bids for the Estonian, but the Polish Ekstraklasa Champions matched the club’s valuation,

Ojamaa made 64 appearances scoring 13 goals with 24 assists since joining from RoPS in January 2012.

Also leaving is Chris Humphrey who turned down a new contract to join English league One side Preston North End.

Meanwhile Ross County midfielder Iain Vigurs has had a medical at Motherwell and is discussing terms.

However, Partick’s Paul Paton has tuned down ’Well in favour of Dundee United.

Motherwell will play English Premier league side Newcastle United in a pre-season friendly.

The Steelmen welcome Alan Pardew’s side to Fir Park on Tuesday, July 16, as they prepare for their European and Scottish Premier League campaigns.

The Magpies boast the likes of Fabricio Coloccini, Yohan Cabaye, Pappis Cissé and Hatem Ben Arfa in their ranks.

Kick-off is 7pm and tickets cost £15 (adults) and £5 (juveniles).
