Motherwell will travel to face Championship side Morton in the third round of the Scottish League Cup.
Thursday’s draw handed Ian Baraclough’s side a trip to Cappielow on either Tuesday, September 22, or Wednesday, September 23.
The sides last met in the competition in a second round tie at Cappielow in 2004 when ’Well won 3-0 with goals from Jim Paterson, Kevin McBride and David Clarkson.
The clubs’ last meeting in any competition was in Scottish Cup in 2012 when Motherwell hammered the Greenock outfit 6-0 in a fifth round match at Fir Park with goals from Tom Hateley, Jamie Murphy (2), Shaun Hutchinson, Henrik Ojamaa and Nicky Law.
Morton reached the third round with a 1-0 win at Queen of the South while ’Well were requiring extra-time to see off East Fife.
