Motherwell ace Allan Campbell is reportedly a transfer target for several English Championship sides this month

The Scotland under-21 international (22) remains out of contract this summer despite the Steelmen's best efforts to retain him.

Football Insider is reporting that Millwall are keen to add the all action midfielder to bolster their squad.

Campbell, a fixture in the Motherwell first team since way back in October 2016, is a key man for 'Well and has been a fans' favourite for his no nonsense style.

Referring to his future, Campbell, who has been part of 'Well's youth set-up since the age of nine, said in a recent interview with the Motherwell Times: “The focus just now is just on the football. Anything off the park will get dealt with itself.

“I’ve been here a good few years now.

“It’s been good to come through all the ranks and eventually get the chance to play in the first team, play as good a number of games as I have and, hopefully, I can just keep kicking on and playing a good few more.”
