Stephen O’Donnell went down under Haunstrup’s challenge but referee Alan Muir wasn’t interested.

A brilliant free-kick routine involving Jake Carroll culminated in Roberts’ cross from the left being turned towards goal by Cole whose effort was saved.

Lafferty shoots over

A 29th minute Killie corner was cleared to Lafferty who blasted well over with his right foot.

Roberts’ cross on 35 minutes was met by Tyler Magloire’s header but Doyle turned the ball over.

1-1 in an entertaining game.

Lafferty’s initial shot was only half blocked and Rory McKenzie nipped in in front of Magloire and Kelly to score

The hosts went 3-1 ahead when a cross from the left found Chris Burke in space and he slammed the ball home.
