Hares pull cracker in cup draw

The draw for the third round of the Scottish Amateur Cup - to be played on November 5 - has thrown up a cracker of a tie between the past two winners.

Kirkintilloch side Harestanes, winners in 2015, will be at home to Motherwell side Colville Park, who succeeded them as holders this year.

The two sides are familiar with each other as both sides play in the Foster’s Central Scottish AFL Premier Division.

Other local clubs still involved in the cup include Campsie Black Watch/Waterside who are at home to Kilbride Thistle, Campsie Minerva away to Bannockburn and Kirkintilloch Thistle away to Cambusnethan Talbot.
