Bellshill will be out to get their promotion bid back on track on Saturday when they face Larkhall Thistle at Fullarton Park.
Athletic’s bid to regain Super League status suffered a setback last week when they went down to promotion rivals Dunipace, a defeat which left them two points behind leaders Carluke.
But with just seven points covering seven teams - from Carluke to seventh-placed Larkhall - there is still everything to play for over the closing stages of the season.
Meanwhile Thorniewood will continue their bid to retain their place in the Super League First Division - but face a tough test against Beith at Robertson Park.
United moved up to sixth after last week’s win at Kilsyth, but Beith have lost just once in 16 games as they seek a quickfire return to the top flight after last week’s relegation.
However Thorniewood did give the Ayrshire side one of their hardest games of the season when only a last minute own goal gave them a 4-3 win at Beith in September.
Both Saturday’s games will kick-off at 2pm.
