Motherwell defender Simon Ramsden says he doesn’t mind the games coming thick and fast when the side is on a winning run.
Victory over St Mirren on Saturday saw ’Well win back to back matches for the first time since September.
They now travel to Aberdeen on Boxing Day followed by a trip to Partick Thistle on Sunday.
Ramsden said: “I think results against Albion Rovers and Celtic get blown out of proportion. I think over the course, although some of the performances haven’t been great, results wise we’ve had a pretty good first half to the season.
“However, against St Mirren was probably one of the most pleasing home performances. From start to finish we were right on our game, the defending was brilliant and up front we caused them a lot of problems so it was a pleasing day and good to follow up from last week.
“Now we’re looking to push on at Aberdeen on Boxing Day. It will be a big test with so many games in such a short space of time, but confidence wise after performing like that we can’t wait for the next game to come.
“It will be tough. We’ve already played them twice this season so know their threats, but I’m sure they’ll know we can cause them problems as well which should hopefully set it up for an entertaining game and we’re the ones who come out on top.
“We lost to them in the league on the back of a long trip in Europe and the League Cup defeat was just one of those nights, so we have nothing to fear.”
