The McDonald’s McFlurry has been around for years, with fans of the ice cream-based dessert able to choose from an array of different flavours.

However, from time to time the fast food chain will introduce a limited edition flavour of McFlurry, which is available for a certain amount of time only.

For those who get excited when a new flavour is added to the McFlurry menu, the news that the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry has made a return will be a welcome treat.

According to the McDonald’s website, the dessert is made with “soft dairy ice cream, Galaxy Chocolate pieces and a deliciously smooth Galaxy Chocolate sauce swirled all the way through.”

There is also caramel version of this tasty treat available.

Lots of new items on the menu

The return of the Galaxy McFlurry comes after the chain’s recent release of a bacon double cheeseburger and the announcement of their first vegetarian Happy Meal.

The veggie Happy Meal features a veggie wrap made with a Red Pesto Goujon, tomato ketchup and shredded lettuce, alongside chips, a drink and a toy.

A spicy veggie wrap has also been added the main menu, with McDonald’s aiming to cater for those who wish to choose a meat-free dish.

Happy customers

Fans of the dessert have also expressed their delight on social media at the return of this popular sweet treat.
