Volunteers needed to keep centre running
The Bell Quadrant facility opened its doors last summer making it very easy for local people to donate to the charity.
However, because of the popularity of the centre Barnardo’s is now asking the community to donate their spare time too.

“Lots of people rely on the centre to give their donations to the charity and we need a few extra pairs of hands to keep this place running like it should.
“If you could spare a few hours we have lots of different roles that need filled, so get in touch if you would like to gain some experience and put your skills to good use whilst having fun in your spare time.
“Volunteering is the perfect way to put your spare time to good use. Maybe you’re new to the area and are looking to meet new people, maybe you would like to add to your CV, any time you give would be greatly appreciated and would help us to continue doing the work we do.”

The day will include a raffle, with prizes including beauty vouchers and take away vouchers; a lucky dip and tombola and to top it off the opportunity to meet Dora the Explorer.
Funds raised at the donation centre help to support Barnardo’s Scotland’s vital work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people throughout Scotland in community-based services.
The donation centre is open seven days a week, 9am–6pm on Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday.
