A Motherwell street is set to be closed three times to allow two different projects to be carried out.
This Sunday (October 25) Menteith Road will be closed from its junction with Merry Street to its junction with Brandon Street in order for Amey Public Services to carry out resurfacing work on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council.
A week later on Sunday, November 1, this section of Menteith Road will be closed again after the council contracted Chemcem Scotland Ltd to install two bridge expansion joints.
There may need to be a further closure on Sunday, November 8, to complete the works on the joints.
A council spokesperson said: “The work was planned to take place on Sundays when traffic volumes are much lower and disruption would be minimised.”
Diversions will be in place.
