Motherwell Highland dancer Casey Paterson (12) is celebrating after winning pre-championships in Aberdeen.
The Our Lady’s High pupil has been a member of the Nicola Boyle School of Highland Dancing for four years.
Casey advanced to premier level last year, and was recently a runner-up in the Paisley championships before her win in Aberdeen.
Her teacher Nicola said: “Casey is a very hard working and dedicated pupil at the school and I am very proud of her achievements.
“Now even harder work begins to reach her next goal of a championship point.
“Casey is very excited to now be up dancing beside the champions and hopes her hard work will help her reach her next goal.”
