Re-wiring boost for council tenants

HUNDREDS of council homes in North Lanarkshire are benefiting from re-wiring work as part of the local authority’s ongoing programme of improvement works.

More than 380 council homes have had electrical upgrading or re-wiring, including work on fire detection and alarm systems.

Improvements to emergency lighting systems in Whammond Tower in Motherwell, were also carried out.
