AN investigation has been launched after a puppy was stolen from a garden on Watsonville Park, Motherwell, around 2.30pm last Tuesday.

The Patterdale Terrier was in a garden when a man simply reached over the fence and grabbed her before making off.

The dog is described as looking like a small black Labrador. She is micro-chipped and was wearing a black collar with a pink heart tag.

The suspect is described as being stocky, 5’10”, aged 25 to 35, with short black hair.
