THREE public meetings are being held between now and the end of the month to give members of the public their say on plans to imnprove the environment in the Bothwellpark area.
The meetings are part of a community consultation process being ubndertaken by North Lanarkshire Council in conjunction with the Central Scotland Forest Trust and the Forestry Commission.
Proposals to improve access, footpaths and woodland planting to Bothwellpark in 2011 and beyond will be on show at the meetings and those attending will have the chance to discuss the project informally and give their views.
The first meeting will be at Fallside Neighbourhood Centre on Tuesday and there will be further meetings at Bothwell Parish Church next Thursday, January 27, and Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre in Bellshill on Monday, January 31.
All meetings will take place from 4pm to 7.30.
