Triumphant Conservatives are headed for Holyrood

These are the trio of Central Scotland List Conservatives who will be representing the region in the Scottish Parliament.

One – Stephen Kerr is the former MP for Stirling who has made a political comeback and readers will also recognise Graeme Simpson who retained his seat.

Yet the one making her Parliamentary debut is Megan Gallacher the Motherwell councillor who rose to become the Group Leader of the Conservatives at North Lanarkshire council.

A jubilant Miss Gallacher was among the new arrivals who attracted much media coverage on her arrival Holyrood on Monday – and like all the others she will be sworn in tomorrow.
