Holyrood quest of two Motherwell Conservative councillors
Scottish Conservative and Unionist councillor Meghan Gallacher is going for the double when it comes to the Scottish Parliamentary elections as campaigning gets fully underway.
Like her colleague on North Lanarkshire Council Nathan Wilson, she is hoping to win a seat at Holyrood in both the first-past-the post contest and the Central Scotland Regional List on Thursday, May 6.
Miss Gallacher who represents Motherwell North is fighting the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse seat and is third on the list.
Mr Wilson who represents Motherwell South will stand in the Motherwell and Wishaw Constituency and is seventh on that list.
