Following North Lanarkshire Council’s decision to declare the site surplus to requirements the club hope to turn into home in their own community.

Councillor Kelly said: “I have been aware of the club’s interest in the pavilion for some time and now it has been declared surplus to requirements I will meet with them to see how we can take this forward.

“I am keen to see the site remain in community use, the last thing I want is for it to be sold off for housing.”
