DRUG dealers in Forgewood have been targeted by police after three innocent toddlers were punctured by used needles whilst playing in their own backyard.
Operation Emery was carried out on Friday morning following the incident on May 31 which resulted in tots Bradley Rowlands (4), Adele Davidson (4) and Kyle Cushley (3) being rushed to Wishaw General.
The Motherwell Times first reported the story on Thursday, June 9, - and it quickly caught the interest of national media as the three children and their parents face an agonising wait to find out the long-term effect the incident will have on them.
The operation targeted five addresses in the Forgewood area for alleged drug dealing activities.
