Police are appealing for information following a string of car registration plate thefts throughout Lanarkshire.
The latest set to be stolen were from a vehicle parked within Birkenshaw Industrial Estate around lunchtime on Saturday (January 30).
PC Garry Cook of Bellshill police office said: “Car registration number plates continue to be targeted by thieves throughout the area, with a spike in recent weeks.
“Stolen plates are then often used on other vehicles during the commission of crimes ranging from theft of fuel to serious and organised crime.
“I would appeal to anyone with information regarding the thefts to call Police Scotland on 101.”
