The pandemic could not come at a worse time for people already affected by poverty, conflict and hunger.

Feed the Minds’ projects reaches women and vulnerable people who have been left behind; those who often missed out on school due to extreme poverty, conflict or discrimination.

Celia Maclean, the regional development co-ordinator in Scotland, said: “In the midst of a global pandemic, we need to remember we are part of a global community and continue to support people who are less fortunate than ourselves.

“We urgently need support to help women and vulnerable people in marginalised and poor rural communities to gain confidence, life-changing skills and a brighter future.
