The final consultation event on controversial plans to build a new multi-million international rail freight facility in Bellshill takes place this weekend.
The plans of developers PD Stirling to extend the current Mossend Railhead will be on display at Bellshill Cultural Centre on Saturday between 1pm and 5pm.
The consultation is the third at the Cultural Centre in recent months and developers insist they are heartened by the interest shown and the number of local people who have taken the opportunity to tour the site and hear more about the proposals.
But the plan to build the railfreight park on greenbelt land between Carnbroe Road and the A8 has infuriated local residents angry at the effect it would have on the area around their homes.
It is anticipated that a planning application will be submitted before the end of summer.
