A MAN has appeared in court after he defied an ASBO to have friends round at his Motherwell flat on New Year’s Day.
Robert Hayes (22), of Barons Tower, was ordered to do 60 hours of unpaid work within three months under a community payback order.
He admitted breaching bail and an anti-social behaviour order granted at Hamilton Sheriff Court last May.
It was designed to prevent him playing loud music and having noisy gatherings at his home.
The order banned Hayes from having more than three adults in his flat at any one time and the court heard that number was exceeded on January 1.
